Can you post up a picture of one?

That should get more feedback.

Yeah no problem. I'm just hoping someone else is removing this type of window and contact me. I am looking for 2 sets of hinge and 2 operators ...1 right and 1 left.

Have you started with Pella?

They are usually pretty good about keeping some parts around.

Yeah that's where I started. I contacted my old Pella sales rep
and he told me that those parts have been unavailable for some time now.
I'll be trying some of the window installers here in St Paul to keep
an eye out for these.

This looks pretty close.

Be sure to try Blaine Hardware as well. They are usually lifesavers.

Thanks for the lead...I did find what appears to be the operators at Blaine. I will contact them this morning to see if they are still available .
What ever you attached to your last post "Windows" I cannot see it for some reason.
At least it appears that you were attaching a picture. Thanks

It was a picture of a strap hinge.

If Blaine might have it, start with them. They are awesome!!

Of the three big wood window companies I have found that Pella is the least supportive of vintage parts.
I think you are on the right track to look for someone replacing this type old window to recycle the hardware. Three years ago we did a LC project where we removed 24 of that vintage, they went right to the dump.

homeowner 59, did you happen to find a replacement hinge? I have the identical windows and have 1 hinge that's rusted out. Thx...Jim
