bay crank out window help

#1 Post by tasha2886 »

I have a 1958 4window bay.... 2 crank out. The cranks are broken and cannot be replaced too old. Do I have to replace the entire bay window or is there a way to replace the 2 crank out windows only somehow? Can anyone help me with this one?

The parts from that era should be serviceable or retrofits should be available.

Have you tried Blaine Window?

It may take some doing but I have to imagine it is doable. The question becomes is when is "X" investment too much as compared to replacing the window?

can you post a picture of the bay and the hardware?
what is the bay made out of?
typically the venting units can be replaced with insert replacement windows.
