Apex Insignia windows

#1 Post by jadkins198 »

Speaking with a Salesman this evening from Apex Energy Solutions concerning replacement windows. There brand is Insignia. Any comments on these windows or Apex Energy Solutions would be very helpful. Our house is 28 years old and currently have typical wooden double hung windows that are showing their age.
Thanks

If you search the site there are actually several threads that discuss the company and product.

Unless they have made a change, they use the Alside 8000 series window. AMI (Alside) has been in the news recently with some financial trouble (December issue of PlasticsNews).

By my last account of what they charged, they aren't worth near what they want to get for them.

Just so everyone doesnt think we wont give alside any credit. If i had to choose an alside/ ami material product, it would be the insignia- 8000 series.

I would agree. Far from a ringing endorsement, but it is their best product IMO.
