Window Identification

#1 Post by Dittzy »

Can anyone tell me if all new windows should arrive with some sort of identification on them somewhere stating what they actually are? For example, if I am supposed to be getting Polaris Ultrawelds with low E and argon, will there be a label or such indicating that I can verify prior to installation that they are actually what I was supposed to get installed?

Should be an NFRC sticker on them. Some installers remove them at the time of unwrapping them as they aren't really required for tax rebate purposes now.

There are serial numbers on them and you can ask the company for a copy of the confirmation sheet on the windows that is redacted.
