Okna Insul-tec vs Window world series 4000

#1 Post by BSKK49 »

I am pricing out 60 X 45 inch slider windows. Is the Okna Insul-tec window@ $670ea. worth $100 more per window than the WW series 4000? Is $670 installed a fair price?

In my opinion, yes.

Better thermals, design, air infiltration, and overall look.

+1. You are considering products at opposite ends of the spectrum, so a $100 spread per unit is not difficult to justify IMO. I'd say that you are more likely to get a good install as well. Companies tend to offer top products when they are passionate about quality and performance, not just selling at the lowest price.

I just recently saw a window world installation and it looked like a bunch of drunks just left an AA meeting, fell off the wagaon, and then decided to install some windows.

My windows have arrived and are not clearly marked. What does the number 5520SL-DX mean?
