Great product and installation from someone specializing in Windows is typically a winning combo. Either of those choices will serve you well.

Cost on the 500 series just slightly more than the ViWenco and much cheaper than the Alside windows. Sunrise was here today, I think I liked the look and feel of the Okna better but the Sunrise seems to get more favorable reviews.

I'll see what the price difference is in a day or so.

I wouldnt say sunrise has better reviews at all. The Okna has some strong reviews and has a .25 total Ufactor and a .02 air leakage rating. I also think sunrise uses a metal spacer . Both are good wimdows though.
Which Sunrise series did you see?

I'd have to agree with ricknez. While Sunrise and Okna are both very good and comparable, the Okna actually beats it in every measurable area of performance, some by a larger margin than others. Furthermore, in the double hung, the Sunrise won't meet the new Northern Region Energy Star rating of .27 without resorting to some glass coating options that are undesirable in cooler climates. Going with triple pane does negate that concern though.
On reviews, both are overwhelmingly favorable. Any negative feedback seen on either is likely an isolated incident or competitive propaganda.

So the Sunrise Restorations came in just over $12k. This is about $2k more than the Okna 800 of which three would be tripled pane for noise reduction in the master bedroom. I think the Okna is a slam dunk now.

Signed off today, should have them installed within a few weeks/month. I'l post a follow up once they're in on how the process went and my opinions.

Windows went in today, they started at 9am done by about 530-6pm after cleanup. I couldnt be any happier, look feel, and how nicely installed was probably the best experience I've had with a contractor since owning my home. If anyone in NJ is looking at the Okna's I'd have to recommend AGM windows.
