Do you have any friends of family that have already completed similar projects? That is usually the best place to start in terms of a recommendation.

Do you have any thoughts as to the ttype of material you want to use or the best install method?
You can choose from clad wood, vinyl or fiberglass.
The two most common install types are insert or full frame.
If you have any other details, like outside color, inside finish, budget, etc, I might be able to be more helpful.

In Michigan, you have you pick of the litter. Sunrise is homebased in Michigan as well as every other major brand being available.

Sunrise, Soft-Lite, Kensington, and Okna are all great vinyl windows and readily available in your area.

The mfg sometimes can help recommend someone in your area.
Certifications can also help good people.
Installation Masters is an independent certification that can sometimes help point towards the right type of person.
