Can anyone help me out. After meeting with many sales/contractors I have decided to go with the Simonton 9800. I know this sounds crazy but I am concerned bc the price seems low. My window guy said there is only a 30 dollar difference in price from the 5500's to the 9800's is this correct? Then to add the super spacer would be 20 bucks? I just figured the price difference would be greater.
9800 with super spacer would be 265 a window? not installed in this about right?

It appears your contractor is passing his cost for the window on to you without marking it up much. He will make his money on labor to install the window.
The cost difference between the 9800 & 5500 is correct along with the SS cost.
