Help!! Too much sound from Simonton Profinish sliding door

Has anybody had any experience with this product? We just had the door installed and the door emits more sound than my "old" previous double paned, non- low e, sliding door. We can now hear traffic and airplanes where we did not before. But what really seems strange is that the sound we hear has a reverberation to it- as if the sound were coming through a pipe or something. I have never heard anything quite like it. Anyone know what is going on here? Thanks,
