I do not like the standard gray or charcoal fiberglass screens that come with most of the replacement windows.
I'm looking for a more transparent screen like the anderson truscene or the pella vivid view. But I don't want to go with either one for the windows.
Is there a dealer/retailer that sells a similar screen material that I could get rolled into my screen frames??
Transparent Window Screens
Invisible screen
Andersen has the patent and Pella violated it. No other manufacturer has the stones (or checkbook) to get involved. You likely won't find it anywhere else.

How could Pella violate any patents when they don't make Vivid View screen?Tw wrote:Andersen has the patent and Pella violated it.
Gore, the company who invented Gore-Tex fabric developed Vivid View screen and has a patent pending.
And, they aren't even made of the same material. Andersen's product is made of stainless steel and Vivid View is made from fabric. That makes it pretty hard to violate a patent.
