I currently have thermopane wood windows with storm windows and wonder if it is stupid to replace them with vinyl windows (70s brick ranch). Expecially if I'm not having any problems with them. I would replace them strictly for aesthetic purposes.
I was looking at the Alside Excalibur and Gorell 5100 but the posts that I've read don't speak very highly of either window. They are considered more streamlined than other windows (more window than vinyl).
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

You may not think your having issues but it will make a difference by replacing them. You will be doing yourself a great justice aesthetcally and energy efficiently in a huge way. Go for it!!!
