In Utah and in need of replacement windows - any advice?

My husband and I received a quote of approximately $7000 to replace 14 windows (10 single hung @ 36 x 60, 3 single hung @ 48 x 60 and 1 slider @ 42 x 48) with their higher end vinyl windows (Peachtree). We then went to Lowe's and looked at the Pella Thermastar windows which with installation came to about half that price. I then came here and saw that the Thermastar was definitely NOT the way to go.

I have a call into a dealer for Amsco windows and am thinking it may be down to between them and Milgard. Any advice? Anyone here know of something better that is available in Utah?

I like the amsco window. Cardinal Glass. Locally made. Mikron Vinyl. Good window over all.
