new windows for home construction

We are building a house. I am confused on window options. We live in East Tennessee. We have quotes on atrium 450 double hung windows. Also have a quote from hurd windows. Hurd is much more expensive.
We will be using hardwood floors throughout the home, so I am concerned about sun protection. Could anyone give me info on the two brands we have been quoted or other window brands that would be midrange in price?

Atrium is decent product. I have Hurd casements in my current home and am very happy with them. They are about 10 years old and seem to be doing very well.
