Replacement Windows for Upstate NY

I am interested in replacment windows for Upstate NY (cold climate). I have 8 windows that need to be replaced and I would like double or triple pane, low-E glass, argon filled windows. I am mostly looking for an energy efficient window that will last. I don't care as much about wood trim, look, etc. Standard white is fine.

I had a quote done by Anderson Renewel and could not believe the price. 10 grand for 8 standard size windows.

What other good quality brands should I be looking at that would be at a lower price?
