Alside in Minnesota

Looking at vinyl replacement windows in Minnesota. Have a quote for Alside Sheffield windows and was curious about quality.

I've looked through some posts here and elsewhere and it seems these are not highly thought of windows. The contractor bidding the job has been around for 20 years and seems to be a solid business.

Please let me know what you think of these windows and if you don't like them suggest a couple options for me to check out in MN.

In all seriousness, do a search on the Alside Sheffield and you will have all the information that you need to steer you clear of that window.

Suggestions on what would be a good option instead?

Looking through threads there are what seems like hundreds of options for windows out there. What are some favorites for vinyl?
