What is the difference between the 5500 and the 6500? Does the 5500 meet Windstorm code for Texas and qualify for the Tax credit? I am looking for the best quality product (energy efficient-warm climate) for the least amount of money.

The Simonton 5500, 6500 and Prism Platinum are basically the same window. I am not familiar with the specific requirements of the code. One of our Texas Pro's will chime in soon I'm sure.
