Window mfr recommendation for TampaBay, FL area

Hopefully someone can help a newbie select a window manufacturer in Tampabay. I like Gorell's Armor Impact Plus glass reviews and found 2 local manufactures that use their glass, "Florida Lifetime Impact Window And Door" and "Duramade Windows & Doors." Does anyone have personal experience with either of these companys or perhaps another near Tampabay?

About what can I expect to pay for a vinyl, double-hung (40"x52") 50yr Armor glass window?

I'm also undecided on DIY installation. I do just about EVERYTHING myself but, windows scare me for some reason. Is there anything unusually tricky about installing windows? What do manufactures usually charge for installing an average sized window?

Gorell makes a nice impact, but their frames are very bulky. Last I checked, the Tampa area was around $250 for install.
