Alside Excalibur 2

I have been reading this forum for a little while, I am looking at replacing all the windows in my home, I live in western Idaho, temps range from 110ish in the summer to -10ish in the winter. A local salesman told me about alside excalibur 2 windows. From what I have read alside products are frowned at. However I havent found much of anything on the excalibur 2's only the excalibur. Is there much of a difference. does anyone now of the ratings these windows have? on the pamphlet it says they won the consumer digest best buy award 2010. any help would be greatly appriciated.

Consumer's Digest is not a worthwhile evaluation tool.

Alside does make some decent windows and I think that the Excalibur II is a better window than the Excalibur if I am not mistaken.

That being said, I think that those type of climate extremes require that much better of a window and company approach than the Excalibur and perhaps the installing company that uses that product are taking.
