Provia Endure

#1 Post by cledaybuck »

I have been given an estimate to replace my current windows with Provia Endures. Does anyone have any opinions or experience with these windows?

I've seen it in person, but have yet to install any. As a ProVia dealer I like what I've seen from the sample in regards to the performance specs and options. I would imagine by spring I will have had a chance to utilize this series for a few projects. I'm very familiar with the Deceuninck extrusion that it based upon along with all of the hardware that goes into constructing the Endure as it's sort of cousin to what Affinity over here in Philly is manufacturing.

Based upon the some of the engineering and cosmetic aspects of the Endure I would not put it in the same class as the upper OKNA, Soft-Lite, and Sunrise series. The options are incredible and the ProVia did a tremendous job with the literature.

How would it compare to the Preservation Windows? I also have a quote for those at a slightly higher price (7000 vs 7600 for 15 double hungs and one casement).

Where are you located? That would depend on what manufacturers are available in your area.

It's been forever since I've seen the Preservation. From what I remember it was Alside's flagship back in the day and kind of bulky? Not very sexy lines either from an visual standpoint. I don't feel that it's on the same level as the the Ensure.

+1

The Preservation, while sounding rich and beautiful, is a bit like a linebacker in a tutu. Not a pretty picture once you shove it all in there.

I have also been given an estimate for Sunrise Windows that is about 5,000 more than the Endures. Does anyone think they are worth that much?

Which model Sunrise?

If you are in Ohio, you have your pick of the litter when it comes to great window options.

Not sure if you will get a response from the OP, but the Endure is a solid option.
