I know this is the wrong forum. But does anyone like/dislike Pella aluminum clad wood windows?
I don't think I have to worry about the paint/finish scratching on aluminum as I do with vinyl.

No fans of Pella here. If you want aluminum clad wood, look at Marvin, Kolbe, or Andersen’s E series.

Choosing a clad Pella window for the perceived finish durability over a well engineered vinyl product might be the definition of cutting off your nose despite your face.

Pella still uses roll formed cladded exteriors, unlike most of the better wood windows designs which are a thicker gauge extruded material. This better isolates the wood from moisture.
