i am very familiar with evans out of edmonds washington and know about their products and practices inside and out. They are a very hard sell company with a decent window out of Spokane WA, VPI, which they falsly brand as their own.

We like the product, but not the Evans approach. Is VPI the name we should look for in Spokane? Do you know if the VPI brand would be available for us to install ourselves?

The VPI window is a nice window, with a good bit of fluff for more appeal. Unfortunatly, VPI's pitch to dealers is that they will brand the window so as to look like it is manufactured by the dealer. As far as I know, you can not buy and install the window yourself, unless you fall into a special (I've never seen before) deal. There are a lot of good windows out on the market though, just as good as VPI at half the price, with better sales approaches. So, good luck and make a decision that makes you happy.
