Replacement windows installed about 5 years ago.
Can' raise or lower bottom sash. Strings are no longer attached to windows from frame. Cannot raise or lower window to get to problem.
Is there a way to move sliding mechanism in frame to allow me to reattach cord to sash?

What brand of window? Manufacturer?

Look for the Gold AAMA label on the window to find the manufacturer (if available) and call for warranty work.
