I am in the northern suburbs of Chicago and am doing preliminary research on replacement windows for my 1930's cape cod.
We replaced the siding last year with Hardiplank siding but decided against window capping / soffit capping at that time because of aesthetics. Our house has beautiful crown molding on the exterior. Now a year later we have to repaint all the white wooden trim that was done last year.
Can anyone recommend a good product to cap all the wood on the house and still keep the detail? I know there is a pvc product out there if I want to replace all the crown molding but I suspect that will cost a lot.
Can anyone recommend a really good window contractor that is very detailed orientated and can do the capping as well?
Any help would be great.

Check Azek and Koma for PVC products, Koma has a nice woodgrain finish that holds paint a little better than Azek.
