Thanks for all of your help everyone! I'm glad I came across this forum before deciding which window to buy.

I live in MD so the winter months can be a bit chilly. I've been focused on getting the lowest SHGC possible, so the tip about those being for warmer climates is definitely helpful! The Slocum Windjammer has a SHGC of .17, so I think that just came off my list! It is a double pane...but I'm not sure what a heat mirror is so I can't tell you if they're using that or not. The Slocomb website doesn't have much info (technical specs) on their website and the salesperson didn't have a brochure.
