I am replacing the worn-out aluminum windows on my house in Galveston. Of course, once the building is opened up it has to be brought to code (to meet insurance requirements) and that means impact windows and a relatively high DP rating (50-60).
Currently I am looking at Showcase impact windows and SafeHarbor impact windows. Showcase seems a little slow on the draw in providing an estimate and this makes me concerned about future support. Have not yet initiated contact with SafeHarbor. Can anyone comment on these products and manufacturers?
Any guidance or other products I should be looking at? Thanks to everyone for the info on this board, I have been lurking for a while and have learned a lot already!
