Window Choices Soft Lite vs Provia Door Integra

#1 Post by drl100 »

First time post.

Replacing casement windows with double hungs. Work consists of removing seven mullions and adding two new ones. Also consists of capping a box bay. Getting a total of seven new windows put into five openings. Three 47 x 63 and four 36 x 63.

The quotes that I'm getting are 4600 for both Integra and Barrington (optioned as close to Integra as possible). 5900 for the Soft Lite Imperial LS.

I like the Integra window but I'm concerned that they are not AAMA certified.

I have not seen nor been quoted on the Bainbridge.

Thoughts on which window to go with and is the price in the right ballpark? Also any other windows that you feel that I should consider please let me know.

Thank You

Bainbridge is a modified Barrington that comes with balance covers and a more attractive exterior. Typically it is about $20+ per window over the Barrington but well worth the cost in my opinion.

I am not familiar with the Provia product but the Soft-Lite windows that you mentioned are both excellent pieces.
