Another one bites the dust. Republic windows is shutting it's doors on Friday, December 5th, 2008.

Dropping like flies. This is sad to see and despite the slight DOW rally...I think indicative of things to come.

Bit of a shame really, met them all at a dealer meeting in Vegas last year, very nice group all around.

Wow, what drama in Chicago at the closed down republic factory.
The union workers have staged a sit-in at the closed plant the last 3 days because they were not given 60 days notice of the closing and there was no money to pay them vacation and severance pay, and now Jesse Jackson has got the Rainbow Push coalition involved to try and get financing restored for Republic to be able to open again.
