I didnt see any Pellas, I just saw the prices and knew immediately that we couldn't go with those.

Don't believe us look up the NFRC #'s. They don't lie. You can achieve almost 50% better U values with TP as apposed to DP

Ive seen the numbers. I'm just confused why a couple dealers were trying to make them sound like gimmicks. Maybe because they don't offer them and want to keep my business? haha

I do it as three singles to try and leave some verticall support for the header which is not that beefy.
But doing a bay or bow blows that logic.

I think we might have a contender.

$7777 installed for:

4 Double Hung
7 Sliders

All Gorell 5300 w/ Energy Master III triple pane glass.

Done by a 33year old well known local window and door company: Big L Distributors.

How does this sound to you guys?

About right, but I think you could get Solar master III for that price.

I thought he threw a little temptation in there. He was like "I'll give you triple pane for free". I didn't know it was cheaper kind of triple pane. (No krypton, etc.) I think I will ask for the upgraded glass in exchange for accepting their bid. thanks for the tip.

Gee, you joined the board just because you're a nice guy and decided to dig up a very old post in order to help homeowners. Yeah, right. Next time try reading the rules about spam.
No one is going to look at Pace if that's how they do business. You make them sound very shady, are they?

Wow! Your very first post here, and you just happened to stumble across a thread that has been lying dormant for 4 years. Imagine that.

Comfort Windows must be one desperate operation. Homeowners should avoid such a deceptive company.
