how long is a lifetime warrany? is it true that its only 7 years?

It seems this is a state level decision. Each state should be checked. Check with the attorney generals office for your state. Please let us know what you find out.

This is a tough question. Most Lifetime warranties only pertain to the actual frame and any other componenets except the glass unit. Most companies that advertise 'Lifetime Warranty" are referring to their window frame, sahes, hardware and ect. The warranty on their glass units vary fron the other parts of the window. Please note that almost all warranties read "limmeted", that means you should take your time reading them and if you have trouble have a lawyer look at it.
