Looking for windows in Florida

I'm in the market for windows that will take advantage of the federal tax credit. I spoke to a salesman who was pitching Aside Excalibur double hung windows. After looking around this site, I see they don't enjoy a good reputation. I need 8 windows approximately 36" x 72". I was quoted $450 per window, installed, taxes, everything included. What better brands should I investigate in that price range?

Can you tell us in what area of Florida you are located? I just had a quote for (3) Simonton refections 5500 series DH with argon, Loe 366 dual pane no grids for $886 not installed. If you can locate a good installer I would think is is a very good price.
