do it yourself where to start?

#1 Post by aabreu » Fri Oct 28, 2005 9:28 pm

I want to start a project in my house to replace the windows.,

A. Where can replacement windows be purchased. Double hung vinyl.. most inexpensive .. Home depot? Lowes? Menards?
I checked out what HD had and they seemed to be in the $120 - 200 range for vinyl windows.

B.) What type of window should I be looking for? I have wood ones now.

Any help greatly appreciated.

You are now Andres home improvements of Toledo.
Go to Reynolds,Modern Builders supply,Marsh,Alside, and many other wholesalers and strike your best deal on the most window you can afford.
Dress like a contractor and drive your P/U truck it might help.
