Alside
Re: Alside
I had Alside replacement windows installed about 8 years ago (10 DH and 1 casement) in my home in the Detroit area. They have been great, no problems whatsoever, saved a lot on my heat bill no call backs - really sturdy window. --tcmich

Re: Alside
Alside makes the Ultramaxx, Sheffield, Excalibur, Geneva, Centurian and a couple of new constuction models. Which one were you interested in?
Re: Alside
Howdy. We replaced out windows with Allside Sheffield model. 32X60 DH Low E, gas filled, half screen - $300 each. I installed them myself which is very very easy to do. I have found them to be very reasonable quality for what I though was a decent price. No complaints whatsoever on quality control or pricing.

Re: Alside
Please post back in about 2 years. I have had numerous complaints after a couple of years. Not saying that you will, I am just trying to track the lifetime cycle on these units.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Alside
I would sell you those windows at $300 each but much better quality.
Where did you buy them from?

Why would you make such a comment to someone who has already purchased the windows and is almost finished installing them?

Re: Alside
I have installed thousands of Alside mechanical windows. Alside was the first to offer as standard; double locks, double strength glass, intercept spacer, but that was the nineties. I also dislike pocket sill and filler sills. Now Alside aka associated materials has the new enviro view products. Has anyone an opinion on these?
