Possibly, need to replace about 25 windows and 1 picture. Major appears to be well liked.
Still waiting on an estimate for Okna 400 (500) and Starmark doublehungs with a U below .30 for the rebate.

Okna does not make a window that is above 0.30 U-Factor any longer so this quote should not take long.

Speaking of Okna/Starmark, are any of you dealers going to the Tropicana in Atlantic City at the end of the month for their seminar thing? I'm just becoming a dealer for Okna/Starmark in their expansion west so I'll be coming out from Chicago it. If any of you are there look me up.

Hello,

I was quoted $1,475 for a 3 lite white casement Starkmark 960-CAS3 installed, new oak sills and casings. The left and right casements will open and the middle will be solid.

Is that a good price? I am in NE Pennsylvania

Thank you....

I got a quote of $1,395 for 3 lite 600 Casement Okna from the same company...

Is it smart to spend the extra, well really $54, if you take into account the 30% tax rebate, for the Starmark 900? The Starmark 900 better than the Okna 600?

Thanks

Thermally probably not.

I am planning on purchasing fiberglass windows for new construction. I have recently come across OKNA windows and am wondering if anyone can give me the advantages/disadvantages of this type of window compared to fiberglass. Does anyone know if you ever need to paint the composite frames? I am looking for low maintenance, meaning I never want to have to paint the frames.

Okna starmark composite as well as their vinyls are 100% maintenance free; no painting..its a very good window.
