Houston, TX townhouse-

replacing original aluminum windows:
need some help with options/suggestions/specs, etc

4 in front- 35x71 (9 over 6)
2 in back- 35x58
+ bay window- 90x58 5 units (8 panes @)

my main concern is noise from the street/front
as the master bedroom faces the street
and then the heat gain from the west exposure
I have installed solar screens over these windows

back windows and bay window have been tinted
and get very little road noise
so I'm not sure how to justify the investment
and replacing a bay window kind of scares me ($)

any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated-
appearance, ease of use, and cleaning are not main concerns
noise control, comfort, and energy efficiency are more important
