I live in Northeast and am looking to replace 35+ yr. old Anderson awning windows with Simonton 9800 Impressions vinyl windows. Have higher than recommended humidty in home during winter months (which we are trying to resolve). Do not have central a/c. Do not get alot of direct sunlight in the house.
Considering triple pane low e kryton superspacer. Since triple pane has double the number of seals in a unit, is there an increased chance of seal failures on triple vs. double pane? Is triple pane worth the extra money (about $100 per window) to reduce the possibility of condensation.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
