the problem with the lincoln windows was handled
they sent out a man who drilled a tiny hole with a diamond tipped carbide drill in 23 out of the 50 windows in my home. In order to see which ones needed it they used a laser which bouced a beam back between the two panes of glass. it released the gases in the window. all the glass bent back to normal tolerances. so i shouldnt hopefully have the problem again. then after they sealed the hole with the epoxy used in car windshields. whole job was done in less than two hours. it is nice that posting on the internet gets the companies attention and that they stand behing their products.

Re: has anyone been hurt by an exploding withdow made by lincoln
Please post some pictures of the broken windows. I would like to see how bad they exploded.
Also edit your post and take your phone and email address out of it.
Thanks

There are a few different reasons why a window may spontaneously break.
How old are your windows? Are they all facing the same direction?
