hi pros,
want to get your opinion as to what time of year is good for window installation.
my thinking is spring or fall.
when it gets cold, does the quality of install get affected (e.g., caulking not working well when it's cold)?
thanks!

We install windows 12 months out of the year with no issues. When it's really cold out, we have to keep the caulk warm so it doesn't cake-up in the tube. Other than that, the only thing that stops us is heavy rain and snow.

+1... Everyday is a great day to install windows. ...... I can say though, that spring and fall are the busiest times of year, so if you are looking for a deal, the dead of summer and the dead of winter are the best times to buy. A good company will deliver the same quality whether it is 65 and sunny, 85 and humid, or 25 and snow.
