"stainless steel intercept technology spacer" ?

#1 Post by Kirill »

Hello,

I am waiting for Okna qoute from Window4U and also want to evaluate another window - from Advanced Window Corp - from Chicago (also a factory owned by polish guys) they have R5 window - that looks like a very good window with foam filled frame and tripple pane glass

How about "stainless steel intercept technology spacer" ?

I believe this is the product

Is it a good component ?

Thank you,
Kirill

The stainless steel version of the Intercept spacer is a good product.

I prefer a non-metallic spacer when I can get it because of the lessened conduction at the frame edges but I would not necessarily pick one window over another on that basis alone.

A proven spacer is a proven spacer.

Dave should have a couple of R-5 windows for you to choose from in a triple pane argon format. Many manufacturers cannot get to that level without Krypton.
