Replacement windows in 1970s house in Phoenix, AZ

#1 Post by Captain Richard »

I am looking to replace ten windows in a 1970s house in Phoenix, AZ. So far, my inclination is for the Milgard Tuscany. Are there better windows out there for little more money, just as good windows for less, or am I selling myself short if I don't go for top-of-the-line windows at four times the price. ? Also, is there anything better than vinyl ?

You could consider composite or fiberglass, but then the price will go up.

I would expand your search on vinyl to include a couple more of the premium brands out there.

Once you have looked at what is consider premium vinyl, you can then take a look fiberglass or composite and make that comparison to vinyl.
