Hi, Trying to replace 6 windows...it looks like the average price on the board per window is around 400/window...but I can't seem to get anything in that range in Palo Alto, CA. Any recommendations or is this price reasonable?
Window sizes: 1. 58" x 58 5/8" 2. 58" x 23 1/8" 3. 23 1/2" x 83" 4. 34 5/8" x 23 1/2" 5. 58" x 22 5/8" 6. 23 1/8" x 82 3/8"
Quotes I have gotten are:
1. Milgard Tuscany: $3230 2. Amerimax Grande Low E270: $5076
Thanks!

I don't know where you read on this site that the price of a quality window is $400. Maybe you need to read some more.

I would say that area prices for premium vinyl DH supplied and installed is $500 to $1000 per window. To pay less or more is questionable.

Read it again. It was stated that was very low pricing not average. You also have no idea of the details such as whether it included grids, what was involved with the install etc. Those prices could very well have been based on a low quality, basic no frills install. I can also tell you that 3 of your windows are over sized and will cost more. So your window sizes are not even average.
