You'd be hard pressed to find a better window. It's also the best "bang for the buck" window I know of.

I've installed many Okna 500 windows and never had an issue. they are a solid window with some great performance numbers.

That is a good point as well... If you like the 500, you'll love the 800. Beautiful window.

There's a reason why there is room in the market place for Chevrolet/GMC, Ford, and Dodge all to manufacture trucks. Each proud owner will tell you why their's is better than the other. We have an OKNA dealer in my area that also sells Sunrise. They start their basic no optioned OKNA 400 pricing at what I can give a homeowner a loaded Sunrise Vanguard or Soft-Lite Imperial LS with triple-glazing. Their overhead and mine are on completely different scales. Pricing is very subjective to each dealer's size and regional market place. With that being said, I think that the OKNA products are very nice.

+1 to Mike's comments. Bang for the buck is going to vary from dealer to dealer. In Milwaukee the Okna is priced more reasonably than Sunrise, while in another market it could be the exact opposite. Pricing is 90% dealer, 10% product.

Homesealed,
Do you mean on a $1000 window that the product only cost 1/10 ?

I think you mean to convay that the contractor has 90% of the influnence that makes up the price to the homeowner.

Yep, I have seen a very interesting post with pictures of a bay unit by one of the mentioned unsoiled that had both mfg and installer issues.
There is nobody perfect.

Yep and that value we are talking about is more easily understood on the product side than on the install side.
Dealer 1 could sell product Z for $1000 a window

Dealer 2 could sell product Z for $850 a window and do a better install.

The opposite could just as easily be true.
That is why it is so important to select the right contractor/installer.
