need replacement windows in Philadelphia

#1 Post by brianmo »

I am in need of 9 replacement double hung windows in my townhouse in Philadelphia, PA. Just starting the process and had one company come out and he came in at 5K. This is my first time buying windows so I am a rookie. Can anyone recommend someone in my area ?

I am quite certain that anthony serves your area.

He is supremely skilled and his guys (I have used them personally with great success) are fantastic.

He also has the best products you will find.

What window were you previously quoted?

These recommendations probably seem like overkill, but anthony is a genuinely good guy. If you have had any other quotes you'll know exactly what I mean.

That's a contractor grade window typically sold by many random local truck and ladder guys around North East Philly. It's not a bad window, just nothing special. North East is a decent sized manufacturer and is doing well in this economy, mainly because of their partnership with the Power Remodeling Group and their volume of orders.

Personally, I find their products very unattractive from a cosmetic standpoint. The main deal killer is the blue white vinyl extrusions that they utilize. It looks very unlike any white interior paints that most folks have on their existing window casings.
