No grids.

Made me think though; how much does a screen reduce solar gain? I assume all window ratings are without the screen? We rarely open the windows and usually go straight from heating to cooling (sometimes in the same day!).

Good point about the attic insulation. That's next on my list.

Screens (half even) will likely drop it another 2-4 points.

Be sure to have someone who is qualified look at the insulation and air sealing at the same time.
