New Construction Windows-Sunrise or Soft Lite or ???

#1 Post by olmy »

Planning for new construction next year and thinking about windows. I think I have it down to either Sunrise or Soft Lite? Looking at some casement and doubles, what do people recommend? Was thinking Soft Lite Elements but one dealer I talked to said they had some quality issues in the past. Not sure which Sunrise model's to consider. Looking for the best in quality and efficiency, not as worried about which is cheaper. I would appreciate your experiences.

As a dealer who has sold thousands of each one of your choices, may I suggest you throw HiMark/okna into the mix as well. They have an integrated nailing fin the same as Sunrise and Softlite and are a great choice.

+1. Three great choices right there, probably the top three available. Any of them will serve you well.

Thanks for bringing up HiMark/okna. Anyone else know of any issues with Soft Lite Elements?

None that I know of. If the window fits your aesthetic preferences, it is an excellent window.

The equivalent windows in Sunrise and HiMark would be the Verde and the EnviroStar.
