I think that you should present the Architectural board with an alterbnative proposal for a good window option. Color sample and brochure should do fine.

I got a quote for the Soft Lite LS casement windows and it was cheaper than the SilverLine windows. However, $3,340.00 is still a lot for three windows. I think for $150.00, I am going to fix my current SilverLine windows with new Truth hardware and use Fluid Film to protect the hinges and cranks this time. If Congress passes a new energy credit bill, then I will revisit purchasing new windows. Thank you for all your help.

I assume that these are twin casements, meaning that you have six windows, not three. If in fact you have 3 single casements with no extraordinary circumstances, then you are correct, $3300+ is quite high. That Silverline salesman might just take the cake for that product at that price!
