NY area question about windows

Hello new member, thank you in advance for any help.

I received a qoute for Earthwise windows 7 double hung and one bay window 35 degree? its a double hung on each side. $5000.00 for everything

second estimate was sunrise vanguard fusion welded $8000.00 for everything

opinions please, Thanks

the Sunrise is a much better designed window and definitely worth the extra 3k.

+1. That Sunrise quote is actually a good price (and a very good product), while the other brand is too low for comfort, IMO. For a basic install and sparse option content, you should still be in the $400-$500+ range for a DH (and that is on the low-end), and a 3 panel bay would start around $3k and up depending on size and other factors. $2500 at a bare minimum if it is small... $5k for that job says to me that they are either using cut-rate installers, or they may not be around for long. Just my $.02.

+2 on both comments. That other price is a bit too low for comfort for me.
