Vinyl Window Manufacturer for Four Seasons Sunrooms?

Q) Who manufactures the Vinyl windows sold by Four Seasons Sunrooms? They will only say that they make there own windows in a factory on Long Island New York. Does anyone know if that is the whole truth? Their vinyl windows look identical to those that Sears sells, which I believe are made by Simonton

Honestly, I'm not sure, but why would you want to spend thousands of dollars with a company that won't even be fully honest with you about such a basic concern as who makes their windows?

I think for a while it was forve v environmental, formally Schuco. Long Island has a few, smaller manufacturing plants. I don't think Simonton is one of them

Four Seasons manufactures their own windows. The rep was telling you the truth.

That is interesting. It sounds as though you may be an insider on the subject. Could you tell us who makes the extrusions, glass, ect... as well as the thermal and structural ratings on the product?

Any data on them would be great too. NFRC data or structural report?

Their plant is in Holbrook, NY in the same plant that makes their sunrooms.
The window has a pocket sill and uses Rehau extrusions. They are using the 'Conservaglass select' glass from their sunrooms in the windows as well.
Features include shadow grooved corners, interior glazing bead, quad weatherstripping, block and tackle balancers and PAL locks.

I've never seen one, so other than the big huge negative on it having a pocket sill, I have no opinion on the rest of the window.
