Sunrise Restorations - Is this in the ballpark

#1 Post by drbubba1995 »

I think my wife has settled on the Sunrise Restoration to replace the 14 windows in our 1940's Decatur, GA home. Before we go further I wanted to see if the price is ok.

The quote is $9500 and includes:
1. white int/ext windows
2. Two 8/8 windows and 12-6/1 windows with Simulated Divided lite grids.

The windows are very nice looking compared to some of the other models we have looked at. The feedback we have received from this site suggests these are good windows so if the price is right, I think we will go with these.

Thanks for any help.

Great window and a very fair price - especially considering it includes SDL's which are quite a bit more than grids between the glass. If you're confident in the contractor I say go for it.

+1

That is a really good price when you figure in the SDLs.

I agree. The SDL's are very expensive, so that is a great price. Go for it! :D

Sounds like a pretty fair deal to me. The restorations can get up there in price.
