Repairing a Vinyl Window

After a hailstorm I have a hole about the size of a nickle in the frame of one of my vinyl windows. I'd rather patch the hole than replace the window. How should I do this? Is there any kind of kit I can buy that I can use to patch the hole?

There is a vinyl repair kit available from some manufacturers. They usually will not advertise it. A company in southern California makes them.
