 very narrow window ?

Author: Ryan C (

I have an older house with an odd triple window setup on my 3rd floor. I really want to just replace the middle window and leave the other two as is, but the problem is the total opening size (trim removed) is only
12 1/2 x 42. Does anyone know if any company can make a vinyl window this size. Most I have looked into have told me 16" is the narrowest width.

You would have very little glass left with an insert window. I would suggest something like a Marvin tilt-pac, as that would still leave you some glass to look through.
